Driving Directions to UMCF

All routes below lead to Pavia garage on campus, where parking is FREE Saturdays and Sundays; during the week you feed the meters! On Sundays, you can park at any of the meters on campus for FREE. Once you park, head to the University Center, located by Stanford Circle and across from the UM Bookstore. The I-lounge is on the second floor of the UC and can be reached by either: making a right after coming up the UC stairs, or by taking the elevator located in the breezeway between the UC and the Bookstore.

During the week, you must ask the security guard at the main entrance to UM for the number code to park in Lot 21. Push in the # code on the # pad in front of the parking lot. The gate will open and you can park. Parking is FREE on weekends only. If you don't pay, you will be fined around $30 by the Coral Gables Police Department.
From Miami International Airport: Take LeJeune Road south to Ponce De Leon Boulevard. Turn right on Ponce De Leon and travel about 1 mile to Stanford Drive, main entrance to UM. Stop at the entrance gate for directions to Lot 21 or continue on, turning left from Stanford onto Merrick Street, going around the bend, and making a left into Lot 21.

From I-95 North: Head south on 95, which becomes U.S. 1 (South Dixie Highway). Stay on U.S. 1 for about 5 miles to the UM campus. Turn right on Stanford Drive, main entrance to UM. Stop at the entrance gate for directions to Lot 21 or continue on, turning left from Stanford onto Merrick Street, going around the bend, and making a left into Lot 21.

From the Florida Turnpike: Take the turnpike to SW 40th Street (exit 23). Head east on SW 40th Street to Red Road (SW 57 Avenue). Turn right onto Red Road. Make a left onto Miller Drive (SW 56th Street). Take Miller to the end (you'll be at a traffic light/intersection where you can only make a right or left). Make a right at that light, onto San Amaro Drive. Take San Amaro Drive to end of road, to Ponce de Leon Boulevard. Turn left onto Ponce de Leon Boulevard. Turn left onto Stanford Drive, main entrance to UM. Stop at the entrance gate for directions to Lot 21 or continue on, turning left from Stanford onto Merrick Street, going around the bend, and making a left into Lot 21.

From I-75: Take I-75 to the 826 West exit. 826 West turns into 826 South; continue on 826 South until the Miller Drive exit (SW 56 Street). Turn left onto Miller Road (SW 56 Street). Take Miller to the end (you'll be at a traffic light/intersection where you can only make a right or left). Make a right at that light, onto San Amaro Drive. Take San Amaro Drive to end of road, to Ponce de Leon Boulevard. Turn left onto Ponce de Leon Boulevard. Turn left onto Stanford Drive, main entrance to UM. Stop at the entrance gate for directions to Lot 21 or continue on, turning left from Stanford onto Merrick Street, going around the bend, and making a left into Lot 21.

Driving from South/Pinecrest: Take U.S. 1 north to Red Road (SW 57 Ave.). Make a left onto Red Road and an immediate right onto Ponce De Leon Blvd. Turn left onto Stanford Drive, then stop at the entrance gate for directions to Lot 21 or continue on, turning left from Stanford onto Merrick Street, going around the bend, and making a left into Lot 21.

Driving from West Dade: Take Miller Rd. (SW 56th St.) east and continue to end of road. At the end of Miller, turn right onto San Amaro Drive. At the end of San Amaro turn left onto Ponce De Leon Boulevard. Turn left onto Stanford Drive, then stop at the entrance gate for directions to Lot 21 or continue on, turning left from Stanford onto Merrick Street, going around the bend, and making a left into Lot 21.
